Warranty
Limited workmanship warranty
Golden Coat stands behind the interior paint labor on a written estimate. This is a workmanship warranty. It is not a warranty on the building, and it is not the paint maker’s warranty.
How long
Classic is covered for one year. Signature is covered for two years. The time starts on the day of the final walkthrough. The package on the written estimate is the one that applies.
What is covered
- Peeling, blistering, flaking, or cracking caused by our prep or our application.
- Interior surfaces named on the written estimate and painted by Golden Coat.
What we will do
If a claim is valid, we will come back and repair the affected area at no labor charge. We repair our work. We do not refund the job, and we do not pay another painter to redo it, unless we decline to return.
What is not covered
- Moisture, leaks, humidity, or water behind or on the paint.
- Cracks or movement that come from the building, not from the coat we applied.
- Damage after we leave, including scrapes, tape, nails, furniture, and cleaning.
- Surfaces we did not paint, and work we do not offer: cabinets, exterior painting, fences, and decks.
- Fading, yellowing, or a change in sheen from light and age.
- A perfect color match on a later touch-up. Paint changes as it cures.
- Paint the customer supplied, unless the written estimate says we warrant that product.
How to ask
Email goldencoatpaintingco@gmail.com while the warranty is still in effect. Include the property, photos of the problem, and the estimate or invoice. We look at the area and schedule a repair during business hours, Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The warranty stays with the original customer at the address on the estimate. It covers only the interior work Golden Coat was hired to do.
